Our Trading Terms

Delivery

We deliver goods throughout Denmark, except Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Delivery for packages up to 20 kg is done through Post Danmark or GLS. Our delivery time is usually 2-5 days. Special orders may deviate from our normal delivery time, such as orders including many units and/or certain items not being in stock. You are always welcome to contact us for further information on delivery times. Pure Rainforest Chocolate cannot be held responsible for any delivery problems caused by third parties. Complaints to Post Danmark or GLS regarding visible damage to a package or total or partial loss of its contents must be made immediately upon receipt of the package. For damage not immediately visible, complaints must be made within 7 days of receipt, excluding Sundays and holidays. Complaints should be sent to Post Danmark or GLS. Discretion and Security

In order for you to make purchases from Pure Rainforest Chocolate, the buyer’s following personal information is registered: – Name – Address – Phone number – Email address. Personal data is registered with Pure Rainforest Chocolate and must be kept for 5 years to meet the tax authorities’ requirements for accounts. We register your personal information for the purpose of delivering the goods to you. Information is not disclosed to third parties. No sensitive personal information is recorded. As a registered customer with Pure Rainforest Chocolate, you have the right to access the information recorded about you, which will be provided upon request.

Complaints and Right of Withdrawal

Complaints: You have the right to complain about any goods purchased from Pure Rainforest Chocolate if a product is faulty. For all food items, complaints must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods. Complaints cannot be made if the defect in the product is due to mishandling or improper storage, attempted modification or alteration, or misuse. You must include a detailed description of the defect and a copy of the purchase invoice with your complaint. As a general rule, the item will be exchanged for a similar one within approximately 14 days. If there are special circumstances that make it impossible to exchange the item within the aforementioned time frame, it may take longer.

Right of Withdrawal: There is no right of withdrawal for food items. For all other products (non-food items), you as a customer of Pure Rainforest Chocolate have a 14-day right of withdrawal from your purchase and can receive a refund for the item if certain conditions are met. Here’s what you MUST do if you want to withdraw your purchase:
– Within 14 days of receiving the item, you must return it to us along with a copy of the purchase invoice and information on where the refund should be deposited.
– It is a condition for exercising the right of withdrawal that you return the item in the same condition and quantity as when you received it. As a general rule, the item’s sales value must be maintained. YOU must cover the costs of returning the item. This means that we will only accept items where the delivery costs have been paid for.
– You have the following options when you withdraw your purchase after placing an order and paying:
– You can refuse to receive the item when the postal worker or courier tries to deliver it to you.
– You can return the items.
– You can send us an email or letter that we must read before we dispatch the item. Otherwise, you must use one of the above options. *Your order number is included in the order confirmation you receive after placing your order. The item MUST be returned in the same packaging as you received it.*

Ordering

All orders are placed via the Internet. If you have any questions or other inquiries, you are welcome to write in the text field under “Contact”. All contracts are concluded only in Danish. Once you have approved the order, you will subsequently receive an order confirmation by email. This email also serves as a receipt for your order. As a general rule, the order confirmation includes the following:
– Our name and address.
– A brief description of the item.
– The price of the item including VAT plus any other fees, including delivery costs.
– Terms regarding payment and delivery.
– Information about your options for withdrawal and what you need to do.
– Information about the right to complain.

Events

Events held either at Kirkegade 4 or elsewhere require registration. When we receive an inquiry by email or SMS, we send a response, after which payment can be made.

In case of cancellation by Pure Rainforest Chocolate, the deposited amounts will be refunded.

Participants who cancel by the day before the event will receive a 50% refund. Later cancellations will not be refunded.
